Transporting

Transporting - Please be careful not to damage the delicate crowns, especially if you decide to pick up and transport your frangipani tree by yourself.

Digging Holes
For a 45 litre bag, you'll need a hole about 40cms across and 40cms deep.
For a 75 litre bag, you'll need a hole about 50cms across and 40cms deep.
For a 100 litre bag, you'll need a hole about 50cms across and 55cms deep.

First Watering
The shaking around and transplanting is very stressful for your frangipani tree. Transplanting your frangipani tree into the ground and giving the roots lots and lots of water as soon as possible will help your frangipani recover and settle in.

Repotting
If you prefer to leave your frangipani tree in it's bag or pot for a while, it should not need repotting for 1 or even 2 years after receiving it.

Settling in

Usually frangipanis get a burst of life soon after being replanted into the ground or fresh soil but sometimes depending on the season and soil mix, this does not happen. If the leaves on your frangipani droop or turn yellow, consider sprinkling some plant food on the nearby soil or  repotting the whole tree into better soil.
